BOTOX®

BOTOX® (botulinum toxin A) is a natural protein purified for medicinal use. Formulated for simplicity and safety, BOTOX® is gently injected into the muscles of the face. Within a few hours, the muscles begin to relax. As experts of the face and mouth, dentists understand that pain and headaches come from many sources. We can use BOTOX® to provide lasting relaxation to the muscles that cause chronic headaches and TMJ pain. There is no numbness or other discomfort caused in the areas where BOTOX® application occurs. For most patients, results usually last three to four months. BOTOX® can simply be reapplied as needed.
